As a Family Mediator, Parenting Plan Coordinator, Collaborative Divorce Coach & Collaborative Child
Specialist, Psychotherapist Brigitte assists people in reaching an agreement or settlement when
terminating a relationship, addressing post-relationship issues, or establishing parental and/or custodial

Brigitte is an experienced clinician with specialized training in such areas as Parenting Plan Coordination,
Family Mediation, Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity.  She understands the challenges of asking for
help, especially if you feel nervous, doubtful, angry, or sad. Ultimately, many people simply want someone
to listen and care. Brigitte provides a safe, compassionate, and nurturing environment to help clients feel
better able to share their thoughts, fears, and goals.

Currently a BBS certified Marriage & Family Therapist Intern (IMF82642, Supervised by BDutil,
LMFT42451), Libby Supan received her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University.
She is also an alumnus of Long Beach State where she focused on Communication Studies. Before
Northbound, a substance abuse treatment center, Libby was an Elementary School Counselor in Orange
County with children of a low socio-economic status, many of whom with came from addicted families.
Libby has personal experience with addiction, and it has proven to be a rewarding population to work with.
She sees each person as an individual and takes care to craft her therapy technique to each unique client.
Libby has found that Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and
Psychodynamic Therapy have guided her in working with clients. Her areas of interest include eating
disorders, body dysmorphic disorder, emotional eating, addiction, trauma, and family therapy.
